Having served a full apprenticeship and qualified as an Approved Electrician, David Hammond has spent over thirty years in the electrical industry. He has years of experience of both domestic and industrial installations. From new-build to re-wires, indoor and outdoor, he has done them all.

After spending several years in factory automation sales he has now returned to his roots to offer his expertise to customers looking for quality installations at low prices. Large or small, he does them all.

"I have used Dave's services several times now. He has installed a weatherproof socket for my water feature, installing the wires in conduit to prevent my dogs chewing them. He has also installed an outdoor light and repaired my cooker hood light. He always discusses and agrees the work with me and I have found him to be friendly, efficient and very good value for money." -- Gill R, Abbeymead.

"Dave installed a light in my loft after explaining the options available. He was efficient, neat and left no mess. I also found his price was very reasonable, so I intend using him again when I have my outside lights replaced" -- Marlene, Abbeymead.

"We bought a decorative metal light and wanted it fitted in our living room. Dave removed the old light and then tested the new one was safely earthed after fitting it. He even had time afterwards to advise us on fitting a light under the stairs. We would certainly use him again." -- Mrs Leach, Abbeymead.

"I had some bathroom downlights left over from my old house and wanted to use them in the hallway instead. Dave evenly spaced them out and neatly cut out the holes in the ceiling after checking there were no hidden wires that could get damaged. He also found time to install another light fitting at no extra cost" -- N.D. - Abbeymead.

"One of our light bulbs broke when my husband tried to replace it, leaving bare wires exposed. He was worried about trying to remove it so we called in Dave and he quickly removed all the broken bits and fitted a new bulb. We are happy to recommend him." -- Claire, Kingsholm.

"We called in Dave to quote for fitting a heated bathroom towel rail and replace some lights in the lounge and kitchen. His price was very good and so was his work. We subsequently called him in to fix the cooker, which was tripping the breaker whenever we used the oven. Dave found the fault and fixed it in no time." -- Wendy A. - Abbeymead.

"We wanted to replace the plastic outside light with a new metal one, but there was no earth wire as the old light was double-insulated. Dave quickly solved the problem and afterwards tested that the earth was good, so there was no chance of anyone being electricuted by touching the metalwork." -- NBN, Abbeymead.

"We had a new stainless steel fridge freezer and wanted to give our kitchen a bit of a makeover with mosaic tiles. Hammond Electrics sourced some stainless steel sockets and switches to replace our boring old white fittings. It was the finishing touch and matched well with our freezer."  -- Mr & Mrs H, Tuffley.

"My security light had failed so I bought a new one. I saw David's advert in the local Tuffley Link magazine and gave him a call. He gave me a quote over the phone and came out the next day to install it. He also came back to do minor adjustments to the sensor at no extra charge." -- MH, Tuffley

"I have employed David Hammond on two occasions, on both occasions  i have found David`s workmanship very professional, a clean worker, tidy & considerate.
No job is too small & he brings creative thinking.
If you want Service, David is the guy." --
Paul P, Hucclecote
